Day 75 Not as Bad as I Feared

Well, I took your advice, Paula. I got on the scale. And wonder of all wonders: I didn't gain anything. I'm still hanging in there, so no loss either. But after that week I just had, I'm glad it just remained stable.

I'll take that as a sign that my choices weren't as bad as I feared. But honestly, I know what I did, and I know what I could do better. And I just need to do it.

Tomorrow is another day, and another chance to throw that leg back up on the wagon. Now I'm just tired....good nite all.

And thanks for stopping by. Your words of encouragement mean a lot! Really!!

  1. How about instead of "I can do this, right?" you stand up tall and say "I CAN do this!!!!!" Staying steady is better then gaining. I had to start being way more diligent on keeping track of my calories. I start the day off with meal planning, and figuring out the calories. Of course not every day goes as planned and I make the adjustments. I have learned that just because I don't count it as calories, that doesn't mean I didn't have the calories and have told myself that I can try to BS myself all I want, but my body with always tell the truth and won't lie.
Oh yeah, and btw, Tag Your IT!!! I left a tag game on my blog for you!!

  2. Sometimes it's good to have a little scare, especially when you think you've gained, so hopefully it will put you back onto the right track.

You've lost 8 lbs so far, which is brilliant! Keep it up and you'll be close to your 40 lb weight goal before you know it!

  3. One leg, or one foot at a time. Getting on the wagon a bit at a time is a fine approach. Much easier to get on that way and stay on versus just throwing yourself at the wagin and hoping to sick to it.

    Have a great weekend!
